Great inexpensive Mexican food. We have ordered takeout three times since Covid 19, we had never heard of this little gem before March. Everything is fresh and tasty, and the nachos and tacos stay intact even with a 15 minute drive home. Very good affordable option if you are looking for authentic Mexican eats.

Food was excellent. Tasty, plentiful, and out in minutes. Both my kids ate it all and loved it. Prices reasonable. Decor lovely. Will definitely skew future excursions to eat here again.

Everything was great! Even the slightly overpriced Mexican Soda Pop in a glass bottle! Sike naw... It was cool! Everything was fresh and delicious. I'm definitely going back to get more authentic Mexican food.

Best “authentic “ Mexican food in the area. I can tell you this food is amazing! The service was amazing and food was even better. As close to my Abuela’s cooking as I can find.

I order takeout tacos from here all the time. At least a few times a week I order food from here, and it is always great. The guacamole, salsa, and tacos Mexican style are awesome. I’ve tried several of the tacos and you cannot go wrong. My favorite is probably carne asada. Great food!

Atexcac Mexican restaurant is a new location added to the original location in Newark DE. This review is only about my local Prospect Park location. The food is excellent and fresh. Tacos are delicious and traditionally made. Nachos ranchero was great too. The hot salsa is actually hot (spicy). No soda on tap so no free refills. The portion sizes are gargantuan! The prices are reasonable given the serving sizes. Parking is limited and if you park on the side off of Chester pike you can't get back on Chester pike because the road is one way. All said and done I will be eating there again and often and it would be 5 stars if the parking was more convenient. They plan on adding delivery as well.
